Fresh, Locally Caught Seafood with a Stunning View of Manasquan Inlet

The Shrimp Box is my wife and my go-to spot whenever we’re craving great cocktails and a bite to eat by the water. The atmosphere is hard to beat, but what really keeps us coming back is the staff – they’re always welcoming and make us feel like family. Keith is our favorite and consistently provides outstanding service. The food never disappoints… If you’re looking for a laid-back waterfront spot with excellent food, drinks, and genuinely friendly service, The Shrimp Box is tough to beat. Highly recommend!

I went to The Shrimp Box for my birthday dinner. We had a great near the windows with a beautiful view of the Manasquan Inlet. We had a delicious meal and wonderful service at a very good price. I definitely recommend going. I would suggest you make a reservation since you never know how busy they’ll be.

We had an incredible experience at The Shrimp Box! From the moment we sat down, Blake made us feel so welcome. She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely one of the best waitresses we’ve ever had! Her recommendations were spot on, and she made our entire meal even more enjoyable. The scallops were absolutely out of this world, perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and bursting with flavor. They were honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. Exceptional service paired with outstanding food made for a perfect dining experience. A huge thank you to Blake for going above and beyond!! We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for her again!

I had to give this place a try from the reviews. It lived up to its reviews and the food was excellent. The service was also great as well. The seafood tasted very fresh. I believe they made their own bread which also was very good. Their ice tea is also brewed which I look for as I am a tea person. The pasta and seafood were very fair from a price to portion standpoint. Lastly the desert was very light. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you are interested in the area.

The food was fabulous! I first had the the cilantro seared scallops which basically melted in my mouth. I then had the shrimp – fra diavolo which was amazing as well. 10/10 in service, ambience and of course a 10/10 in food. Highly recommend. PS: they are also pet friendly! Came with my dog and you would have to sit outdoors which is great as you get a great view.

I am so happy we decided to try The Shrimp Box today! Everything from the service to the food and drinks to the views was just perfect. The Sunset Dinner was an incredible deal. My husband got a delicious and substantive meal of clam chowder, crab-stuffed shrimp with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and carrot cake (to go because the portions were so generous!). I tasted his soup and was jealous I didn’t order it too (though my salad starter was nice too). I had a very juicy mahi mahi with a flavorful mango coconut jasmine rice, which was perfect for a summer day. After one visit, I’m ready to call this a Jersey Shore favorite. Finally, shout out to Makayla for the attentive service! Thank you, Shrimp Box, for a great time.
